Karma Plants – Focus op de klant
Karma Plants is een familiebedrijf, opgericht in 2000, dat zich specialiseert in het kweken van hoogwaardige en duurzame potanthuriums, juweel orchideeën en groene kamerplanten onder het merk ‘Karma Selections’.
Alle planten zijn gekweekt met het innovatieve teeltsysteem ‘Grown with WaterWick’. Dit geeft vele voordelen voor de kweker zelf qua verduurzamingsstappen maar ook voor de retail en de uiteindelijke consument zoals verzorgingsgemak. Mede door deze nieuwe manier van kweken is de gehele 9cm collectie al volledig veenvrij op de markt.
Due to increasing demand from customers, the business has grown considerably in recent years and now produces more than 3.5 million plants per year. In line with the latest trends, "Garden of Karma" terrariums and special ceramics with water reservoirs are also being developed to make optimal use of the WaterWick in the pot.
"The focus is on the wishes of our customers and how we can best serve these," says co-owner Maurice Langelaan. The company has a clear vision for the future and is dedicated to its customers, innovations, sustainability and continuously responding to supply and demand. Major steps have already been taken in terms of sustainability, such as biological pest control, eco-friendly packaging, generating energy and re-using water. As a result, Karma Plants now produces all its plants in a CO2-neutral manner.
