Karma Plants – Customers first
Karma Plants is a family business, founded in 2000, that specialises in growing high-quality and sustainable pot Anthuriums, Jewel Orchids and botanical plants under the brand 'Karma Selections'.
All plants are grown using 'Grown with WaterWick', an innovative cultivation system. This offers many advantages for the grower in terms of steps towards sustainability, but also for retail and end consumers, such as ease of care. Partly due to this new cultivation method, the entire 9-cm collection has already been introduced to the market entirely peat-free.
Due to increasing demand from customers, the business has grown considerably in recent years and now produces more than 3.5 million plants per year. In line with the latest trends, "Garden of Karma" terrariums and special ceramics with water reservoirs are also being developed to make optimal use of the WaterWick in the pot.
"The focus is on the wishes of our customers and how we can best serve these," says co-owner Maurice Langelaan. The company has a clear vision for the future and is dedicated to its customers, innovations, sustainability and continuously responding to supply and demand. Major steps have already been taken in terms of sustainability, such as biological pest control, eco-friendly packaging, generating energy and re-using water. As a result, Karma Plants now produces all its plants in a CO2-neutral manner.
